![]() ![]() Some jobs are coming back but we are all waiting for the shoe to drop and everything to close up again. I agreed to some responsibilities a couple years ago, and now I have to figure them out, while the world is already stressed out. It was not a "surprise" but I did put a lot of effort into helping them through major health issues back in the winter. Mental capacity, physiotherapy, distance from health care workers, fear of returning to the workplace that infected them. Canadians have decent (comparatively decent) social assistance but money isn't the whole question. We don't know what they need or what will happen. Examples like, one household in my family that was infected includes someone who is being released from hospital after 5 months! But the whole household was infected, and they are not going back to normal. Here in Canada the first wave has subsided enough that we are in a new stage, dealing with after-effects. Americans, jeez, just.ignore your re-openers as much as you can.
